Overview

Waterway has an immediate opportunity for a Marketing Coordinator. This highly impactful position will support the development, coordination, and execution of Waterway’s marketing programs and campaigns. The Marketing Coordinator will also support the general marketing functions and needs of the department and operational store teams. This person will work closely with the Director of Marketing to create programs and campaigns that attract and engage customers to our brand.

 

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Director of Marketing to develop a range of marketing programs and campaigns, with precision and consistency. This role requires someone who thrives on structure, takes immense pride in producing flawless work, and has a laser-sharp eye for detail. This full-time position will be based in-office at our Chesterfield, MO Corporate office (727 Goddard Ave. Chesterfield, MO 63005) and report to the Director of Marketing.

Compensation, Benefits, and Perks:
• Competitive compensation of $50,000 - $65,000 (annualized, paid hourly), depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to, the following:
• Plan, schedule and implement marketing campaigns and special projects
• Develop, produce, and distribute marketing assets, signage and collateral
• Manage internal communications around marketing initiatives and timelines
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure they have the tools, materials and information they need
• Source, select and manage vendor relationships
• Oversee and maintain the marketing schedule to ensure deadlines are met
• Order, proof and coordinate distribution of marketing, retail and recruiting materials
• Execute digital point-of-purchase (POP) content across various platforms
• Create detailed reports to evaluate campaign and program performance
• Occasional travel may be required to support store teams

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
• Associates degree or higher (preferably in marketing, communications, or related field)
• Minimum 2 years of related experience (e.g., vendor management, marketing support)
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship

Physical Requirements

• Environmental – office based, with requirement to be able to work onsite at locations outside for limited periods of time.
• Physical – must be able to walk, sit for extended periods of time.
• Vision and Hearing – Far and near visual acuity, peripheral vision and depth perception. Hear, understand, and distinguish speech from other sounds.
• Language – must be able to fluently speak and understand English when communicating with other team members, managers, and customers for business related purposes.
• Attendance – maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance. Work as assigned schedule.
